It will still function like normal, the forearm armor will not appear if you have your Pip-Boy equipped, however this mod is meant to be used with other mods that remove the Pip-Boy. If you don't use a mod like the PIP-Pad (or another mod that removes the Pip-Boy) and you install this mod, there will be no difference. This is because only the player will ever see this model in 1st-person, and because in vanilla you're never meant to be able to remove your Pip-Boy, they just didn't include the forearm piece at all like some other armors. While removing it looks fine in 3rd-person, 1st-person tells a different story: the mesh simply does not include the forearm armor at all.
In short, I don't like how much skinnier the Pip-Boy is than the forearm armor piece of the Marine Combat Armor. Please credit the author, howeverįixes how the Marine Combat Armor from Far Harbor does not have a forearm armor piece in 1st-person if you're using a mod that removes the Pip-Boy.
